Just watched this movie on DVD. It is excellent I would recommend it to anyone. There is no way I could fall asleep during this one. I've been getting up super early about 3 in the morning and 10pm if I'm still up , I snoozing in my chair. This early shift is really good though, I get to see the sunrise. I know what the weather is doing early so I can plan my day. To surf or not to surf that is the question? I get to see my hubby in the morning he leaves at about 4:45 am and kids are asleep and I have think time, organization time and blog time. Enjoying it.

Back to the movie, the music is awesome. The scenes through the slums of India reminded me of the Brazilian movie "City of God" Shot in the Favelas - ghettos and running from the police. The story line is exquisite so clever. A poor young man from the slums of Mumbai (used to be called Bombay) goes onto the game show, " Who wants to be a millionaire". He gets all the questions right and then he is kidnapped by the show itself. They don't want to pay him the prize money and think he has cheated. Well he goes on the explain," I just knew the answers". Each question shows a flashback to his terrible life and how he knew the answer to the question. It has so many elements; quiz show questions, sibling love and rivalry (those siblings can really do some mean things), and kick in romance and its the best movie I've seen this year.

Surf is looking good today as cyclone Ului starts to arrive. Ihooping to get some long clean lines on the point breaks, with waves to myself. Please Luey (Luey is the Surf God)!

Ului is still classified as a severe tropical cyclone, so they're expecting a reasonable amount of damage as a result.

The bureau forecasts seas and sea swell are expected to increase along much of the Queensland east coast, and produce dangerous surf conditions on the exposed coasts.

Queensland communities are continuing to prepare for the arrival of category three tropical cyclone Ului.

Michael Hutchence - Memories of a great Australian band INXS - INXS - 03 - Never Tear Us Apart  I went to a concert when I was still in High School. It was at Coogee Bay Hotel - surprise concert. Inxs were so famous this was a real small gig. My friend Vanessa and I got our dads to take us. The  the tickets were sold out. My friend started crying, and the doorman let us in. I remember, we somehow pushed our way to the front and I reached out and touched Michael Hutchences' Robin hood style boot. The actual thrill of being so close to a superstar. Brilliant, Finland is Brilliant Teach by Topic not subject!!!! No more you are going to Maths then science then English.  This is relevant to mathematics.  I remember high school maths. Sin Cos and Tan Triangles, I was like whats the point,  If it was applied to the study of Ancient Egypt and measuring of the size of the pyramids, so now you have Geography, ancient history and maths, Add in something about the curse of the pharaohs, curse believed to be cast on any person who disturbs the mummy of an Ancient Egyptian person, especially a pharaoh. King Tuts grave- and you add in science with the study of bacteria or spores that allegedly killed the grave diggers. How interesting would the class be! I would want to go back to high school. Or you could study the 9/11 twin towers disaster in NY. How could an engineer design a building to withstand the hit of an aeroplane, without the whole thing collapsing.
