So I'm having a blast with my new Nikon 3200 camera with twin lens kit. The quality of the pics and the ease of use make it a joy. I'm shortsighted so I often don't know if I got photos of someone until I load them. Are you here? let me know if you see yourself. I can even email you the full sized photos. SURF REPORT GOLD COAST

    Update. Fresh to strong S winds now with the E swell in the 3-5ft range with some bigger sets and there is a lot of water moving about. The winds are forecast to go E then NE later and the tide is dropping after a big high at 9.16am to a low at 2.39pm The open beaches are messy with from Snapper to Kirra the only real options. There have been jet ski assists at Currumbin and Burleigh as the sweep has been so strong and very hard to paddle. It is for the experienced only. Onshore winds are forecast later. Batten down the hatches Cyclone Marcia is moving closer.

Inxs were so famous this was a real small gig. My friend Vanessa and I got our dads to take us. The  the tickets were sold out. My friend started crying, and the doorman let us in. I remember, we somehow pushed our way to the front and I reached out and touched Michael Hutchences' Robin hood style boot. The actual thrill of being so close to a superstar. Brilliant, Finland is Brilliant Teach by Topic not subject!!!! No more you are going to Maths then science then English.  This is relevant to mathematics.  I remember high school maths. Sin Cos and Tan Triangles, I was like whats the point,  If it was applied to the study of Ancient Egypt and measuring of the size of the pyramids, so now you have Geography, ancient history and maths, Add in something about the curse of the pharaohs, curse believed to be cast on any person who disturbs the mummy of an Ancient Egyptian person, especially a pharaoh. King Tuts grave- and you add in science with the study of bacteria or spores that allegedly killed the grave diggers. How interesting would the class be! I would want to go back to high school. Or you could study the 9/11 twin towers disaster in NY. How could an engineer design a building to withstand the hit of an aeroplane, without the whole thing collapsing. So here we have modern history, maths, science, art and into to engineerin
