jellyfish!


there are so many blue jellies. I got stung so badly from one of them, it felt like electricity run through my thigh. I had no idea they could hurt so much!
 Apparently there is two types ones that make you itchy and ones that sting like there's no tomorrow.
I used Medi Quattro First Aid Cream after. Its starts to feel so itchy and hot after the initial pain. This cream Contains Antiseptic - kills germs, Anaesthetic - Numbs local pain, Anti inflammatory - Ease swelling and Redness, Soothing - moisturisers the affected area. I had to apply it twice at night time as it was so itchy.

These blue jellyfish are large if the touch in the water it feels like a hand or a rock its so creepy. I'm still going to surf. This photo from the Gold Coast Bulletin shows swarms of them outside Surfers.

Apparently this dark blue ring edge around the dome of the jellyfish is what stings.





The surf is good so I will still go out. I'm just going to wear longer shorts and long sleeve wetshirt. Soon we will need stinger suits like they wear up north in Cairns.

Inxs were so famous this was a real small gig. My friend Vanessa and I got our dads to take us. The  the tickets were sold out. My friend started crying, and the doorman let us in. I remember, we somehow pushed our way to the front and I reached out and touched Michael Hutchences' Robin hood style boot. The actual thrill of being so close to a superstar. Brilliant, Finland is Brilliant Teach by Topic not subject!!!! No more you are going to Maths then science then English.  This is relevant to mathematics.  I remember high school maths. Sin Cos and Tan Triangles, I was like whats the point,  If it was applied to the study of Ancient Egypt and measuring of the size of the pyramids, so now you have Geography, ancient history and maths, Add in something about the curse of the pharaohs, curse believed to be cast on any person who disturbs the mummy of an Ancient Egyptian person, especially a pharaoh. King Tuts grave- and you add in science with the study of bacteria or spores that allegedly killed the grave diggers. How interesting would the class be! I would want to go back to high school. Or you could study the 9/11 twin towers disaster in NY. How could an engineer design a building to withstand the hit of an aeroplane, without the whole thing collapsing.
