SALTY Surfer Girl Gold Coast QLD Australia

Here I am living in Paradise. Literally a surfers paradise. We have the best waves in the world right here on my doorstep. I've traveled and lived all over the world- only places that have surf, of course! Some of my favorite surf locations are: Costa Rica, Mexico, Indonesia (although I won't go there now I have family to protect too many bombings).
Its been been flat, and more flat all summer. I kept telling all the Surfing Mums" Feb to March there will be swell- in our cyclone season". Just like clockwork on Feb 1st 2010 the waves came. Since then we have had 2 great swells.
I caught some waves at Greeny that were so long my legs ached. How can you explain this joy to someone that doesn't surf! Everything has to be right; the swell, the wind -glassy of course, the crowds, have to sit in the right spot in the lineup. Then Wham Bam the best waves of my life.
I love it, yes I'm a surf stoked loving surfer.

Michael Hutchence - Memories of a great Australian band INXS - INXS - 03 - Never Tear Us Apart  I went to a concert when I was still in High School. It was at Coogee Bay Hotel - surprise concert. Inxs were so famous this was a real small gig. My friend Vanessa and I got our dads to take us. The  the tickets were sold out. My friend started crying, and the doorman let us in. I remember, we somehow pushed our way to the front and I reached out and touched Michael Hutchences' Robin hood style boot. The actual thrill of being so close to a superstar. Brilliant, Finland is Brilliant Teach by Topic not subject!!!! No more you are going to Maths then science then English.  This is relevant to mathematics.  I remember high school maths. Sin Cos and Tan Triangles, I was like whats the point,  If it was applied to the study of Ancient Egypt and measuring of the size of the pyramids, so now you have Geography, ancient history and maths, Add in something about the curse of the pharaohs, curse believed to be cast on any person who disturbs the mummy of an Ancient Egyptian person, especially a pharaoh. King Tuts grave- and you add in science with the study of bacteria or spores that allegedly killed the grave diggers. How interesting would the class be! I would want to go back to high school. Or you could study the 9/11 twin towers disaster in NY. How could an engineer design a building to withstand the hit of an aeroplane, without the whole thing collapsing.
