Let's make a Difference - Palm Beach New Library

Here,s the situation. Palm beach has a newly renovated library. They spent millions and they drastically cut the opening hours. I have just emailed Daphane Mcdonald the local Palm Beach councillor to open the library normal hours 6 days a week.

Please read my email and send her an email of your own lets see if the local community can actually make a difference and get something done.

Hi Daphne,
I first like to thank council for the new exercise equipment at south Palm Beach (near the Pirate Park). I use it every day.

I was going to take my 2 year old daughter to the Palm Beach Library after waiting for almost 6 months only to find it was closed. So now you have an amazing new library (I suppose, its never open). How can I share the love of books etc, or just to have an alternative place to go with my children. We pay a fortune for our rates and libriaries are a fantastic community service- they need to be open and usable 6 days a week. Before the EXPENSIVE renovation at least I could go the library.
I was never told you would spend all rate payers money on a New library and then hardly open the doors.
I will be spreading the word and telling everyone. to try and get you to open the library for full 6 days a week. You closed the local Post Office. Are you trying to move all services to the Pines Elanora? What about the local people who live at Palm Beach not at Elanora who wish to visit there local library which has been open for more then 20 years.
Reconsider and OPEN the Palm Beach libriary. Yes this is correct, the place where you have your office.

Inxs were so famous this was a real small gig. My friend Vanessa and I got our dads to take us. The  the tickets were sold out. My friend started crying, and the doorman let us in. I remember, we somehow pushed our way to the front and I reached out and touched Michael Hutchences' Robin hood style boot. The actual thrill of being so close to a superstar. Brilliant, Finland is Brilliant Teach by Topic not subject!!!! No more you are going to Maths then science then English.  This is relevant to mathematics.  I remember high school maths. Sin Cos and Tan Triangles, I was like whats the point,  If it was applied to the study of Ancient Egypt and measuring of the size of the pyramids, so now you have Geography, ancient history and maths, Add in something about the curse of the pharaohs, curse believed to be cast on any person who disturbs the mummy of an Ancient Egyptian person, especially a pharaoh. King Tuts grave- and you add in science with the study of bacteria or spores that allegedly killed the grave diggers. How interesting would the class be! I would want to go back to high school. Or you could study the 9/11 twin towers disaster in NY. How could an engineer design a building to withstand the hit of an aeroplane, without the whole thing collapsing.
