Why have people on Facebook unfriended you?

One of the hardest lessons to learn.

  • Not everyone you meet will like you or be your friend, or even be nice to you. As I always believe the best in people. I believe they are all happy, friendly and nice. When they do or say mean hurtful comments or unfriend me on Facebook. I am angry , mad and shocked. I still find this hard to come to terms with.
  • This week there was the story of the breast cancer survivor that took photos of her nude body after all her operations and 103 of her Facebook friends unfriended her.
Why on earth would they unfriend her, for showing the truth!
  • Why has someone unfriended you? Add it in the comments section in the end.
  • I'll share my experiences: The first one was a lady, I went to lunch with her one day, infact she had offered to pay for it all. Kind and giving gesture. We got along fine. Then a week or so later she had unfriended me on Facebook. I was so dumbfounded. I even private messaged her on her Facebook thinking she must have made a mistake. She messaged back - less is more. What the? I wanted to swear and curse in every one of the lovely languages I know. Karma will get her. Her husband is one of the nicest people I have met very friendly and kind, he hasn't unfriended me. I wonder if he knows what a mean, snob of a wife he actually has. I found the following passage which is a really good thing to remember.
Say “goodbye” so you can say “hello.”
 – In life, goodbyes are a gift.  When certain people walk away from you, and certain opportunities close their doors on you, there is no need to hold onto them or pray to keep them present in your life.  If they close you out, take it as a direct indication that these people, circumstances and opportunities are not part of the plan for the next step of your life.  It’s a hint that your personal growth requires someone different and something more, and life is simply making room.  So embrace your goodbyes, because every “goodbye” you receive sets you up for an even better “hello.”
  • The other person unfriended me because I know too much. I speak several languages. So when they post in different languages I can understand them. This particular lady, was trying to cheat on her Aussie husband and posted on Facebook in the different language.
  • There is one more I am aware of, who unfriended me on Facebook. I see this one everyday. She unfriended me because she thinks I don't like her porn links. She used to talk about the game when lovers half choke the other to death to have an orgasm. Each to their own. I never unfriended her.  Now I see her everyday, its real small talk as I know I can't trust her at all. If she has unfriended me on Facebook there is nothing genuine about her.
  • Now I say goodbye so I can say hello to someone else.

Now I have shared this with you all. Share with me tell me why someone unfriended you on Facebook. In the comments section below. I'm the curious type
