GOLD COAST Australia's cheapest supermarket.   Coles wins! Coles beats Aldi!!!!!  Here's a survey by choice magazine saying that  ALDI Australia  is still the cheapest. I disagree the Aldi effect has certainly come into play at my local Coles. I no longer have to shop at Aldi at all. Before I would go there every second week.Coles can replace their cheap products with Coles brand same price and great quality. Also I get very friendly service & help with packing my groceries.  Aldi the checkout operators are timed with a push through rate. HOW fast they can scan the items. They just go so fast to get a good statistical rate and maybe even a pay rise. Forget customer service and if your groceries end up on the floor.  Coles wins for the next few months! They did not use Coles branded products where the prices are now the same as Aldi.  Coles cans of
