Do you have have any tips? The ABCs of potty training Good BARGAIN shopping at Pacific Fair

The ABCs of potty training | BabyCenter Do you have any tips? I read this article about potty training. They suggest when you are ready to start the routine. Sit the child fully clothed after breakfast on the potty. I wonder if anyone did this? I am a little pertrified about potty training. My toddler will be 2 soon in June and she is quite aware when she needs a nappy change. Which is a positive. I remember now what I did for my son when summer came, I let him be nudie around the pool with a potty close by. If you have any tips please share with me. Found the 2 greatest shops for bargain womens clothing, both of these have nothing over $15. 1. The new one is called SES (like the rescue sea rescue people. Its outside at Pacific Fair Broadbeach. Its in the laneway where Sumo Salad is. Find Sumo salad and then walk down a little. Sumo salad is yum, try the Thai beef. 2. The second one is called Tightrope. Its inside where Myer is. Both are great and will save you a bundle. Happy shop

YouTube - 4 Year-Old Hip Hop Dancer Miles Brown On Ellen Show 10/20/2009 He is so good and only 4 years old. His dad or mum probably loves to dance. Its amazing but what ever we as parents are in to our children will be to. What an opportunity! What pressure! Obviously my kids are going to love the beach and surfing. My 7 yr old can surf on any board short board to malibu. Thats what he's been around his whole life. My toddler also always stands straight up on any board. It was another day in paradise. Hot like summer without being too humid. The ocean is warm like a bath. Love the beach down at Rainbow. We took the log out today. A very heavy old single fin long board / Malibu. Fun fun can catch anything.  All we need is a little more swell. Saw this on a shirt today, "Life is better when you surf". I have a tshirt that say," Waiting for waves is Ok. Some people spend there life waiting for nothing!". "All we need is love and a good day surfing. &qu

Supportive Parent or Pushy Parent? Dr. Phil Blog+ Tennis+ Saxon + Surfing Mums + $75 fine for surfing a closed beach

Supportive Parent or Pushy Parent? | Turning Point: The Official Dr. Phil Blog This is a good article from Dr Phil, about how he raised his boys who are now grown up. I do this with my kids let them try different things. They stick what they enjoy. My son had been doing tennnis since he was 4 years old, all his friends quit. He persisted it didn't worry him that he didn't know the other kids in the class. I admired him for this as it show he really loves the sport itself. He has just started competition tennis and it is quite overwhelming. He doesn't really know the rules only that you have to hit the ball within the lines. His first match up was against the coaches son who is the same age as him. Somehow he won. The coaches son was very upset he was arguing with the umpires 12 to 15 year olds and later he even kicked my son. luckily I was there I called over his Mum to intervene. The other matches or rounds as the coach says were against 9 year olds , kids 2 years older.

Go Clubbing with your child + SURF surf

Cheap fun for kids: Simple ways to make your child's day | BabyCenter Love these easy and simple suggestions to remember to have fun with your baby/child. My favourite is : Go clubbing In your living room, that is. Turn on your favorite music and dance with your baby in your arms. She'll be in seventh heaven – after all, she'll be enjoying three of her favorite things in the world simultaneously: music, bouncing, and closeness to you. Hubby was home early so I got to go for a surf. It was much bigger then the images on www.Coastalwatch.com.au had shown me. I had my big 8 ft longboard, oh dear wrong board. So I went to watch the Quiksilver Pro. The first wave I watched was such an insane drop in to a standup barrel, that I couldn't even see the surfer. Bede Durbrigde was amazing. He came out of the longest barrel cover up and finished his wave in style. http://www.quiksilverpro.com.au/heats.aspx?c=123#/139/441/ It was so big that the jet skies were taking th

Fourteen ways to trim the fat from your food bills + Seaworld + Cyclone Ului

Fourteen ways to trim the fat from your food bills | BabyCenter Good article with some good tips on saving money. I love how its trendy to be economical- a while ago they had other unflattering names for it. Had a magic day at Seaworld (part of my yearly pass prize form kidspot) again. Hubby was working it was just the kids and I. At Ray bay you can feed the stingray fish- it cost $7 (which I would of paid but they said I could n't use my gift card) so we watched other people. The rays actually come all the way up the side of the pool it get the fish its amazing. You can see there faces- eyes and mouth on their underside. Its really exciting. We went to the waterpark and the slides were being rotated. Each one open for only one hour. The big huge raft ride was open. My son was now tall to go on it. Except I couldn't go with with him because of my baby daughter. So we thought it couldn't hurt to ask if they could open the other slide early. There wasn't enough staff,

Best Movie I've seen this year. Rent it.Slumdog Millionaire - Official Movie Site - Available On DVD And Blu Ray June 1st

Slumdog Millionaire - Official Movie Site - Available On DVD And Blu Ray June 1st Just watched this movie on DVD. It is excellent I would recommend it to anyone. There is no way I could fall asleep during this one. I've been getting up super early about 3 in the morning and 10pm if I'm still up , I snoozing in my chair. This early shift is really good though, I get to see the sunrise. I know what the weather is doing early so I can plan my day. To surf or not to surf that is the question? I get to see my hubby in the morning he leaves at about 4:45 am and kids are asleep and I have think time, organization time and blog time. Enjoying it. Back to the movie, the music is awesome. The scenes through the slums of India reminded me of the Brazilian movie "City of God" Shot in the Favelas - ghettos and running from the police. The story line is exquisite so clever. A poor young man from the slums of Mumbai (used to be called Bombay) goes onto the game show, " Who wan

Another day in paradise. The Alley lines up.

Well the sand is back and its pumping again at the Currumbin Alley. Awesome long lining up waves from the point all the way to Laceys. One more wave and you end up at Laceys- Palm Beach. Up over the tiny sand dune, across the river and back out to the point at the Alley. Had a great surf yesterday with Surfing Mums went out twice, then in the afternoon took my family. My hubby complained we shouldn't have come here its too crowded. Kept saying " don't ding my board". As if I ever ding a board. Hes the one who dings boards- don't I sound like a couple of 5 year olds arguing. "I didn't do it you did it!" Its all about expectations- I expected to get waves, he really wanted to go to Rainbow even though he said Ok to the Alley. It was very crowed- but if you paddle on the inside there waves to yourself. I always say to myself Look at the waves not the people.  This means keep your focus on the where the waves are breaking. Anyway I said I want to g

Seaworld helped me find my hubby

Well I am so lucky. I have just won a family yearly pass to Seaworld. Its for the website www.kidspot.com.au I'm the official My Fun Mum for Seaworld. Let me start by telling you about my life and love of Seaworld. I grew up at Bondi Beach in Sydney. Every year we would come to the Gold Coast for sun and surf. We also visited Seaworld. I remember being a teenager and thinking, " those lifeguards at the waterpark must have the best job in the world! I'm going to do that one day". We moved to the Gold Coast when I was 17. I went and did my surf lifesaving bronze medallion and my first aid course. Then I applied: first I lifeguarded at Wet n Wild then at Seaworld. I worked at Seaworld for years every summer. I often went travelling in winter. I loved it. I would ride my bike to Seaworld about 45 minutes from my house. I had a ball talking to people from different countries. Actually I spoke to a Brazilian here, his name was Casio (like the watch).I told him I would visit
