GOLD COAST Australia's cheapest supermarket.   Coles wins! Coles beats Aldi!!!!!  Here's a survey by choice magazine saying that  ALDI Australia  is still the cheapest. I disagree the Aldi effect has certainly come into play at my local Coles. I no longer have to shop at Aldi at all. Before I would go there every second week.Coles can replace their cheap products with Coles brand same price and great quality. Also I get very friendly service & help with packing my groceries.  Aldi the checkout operators are timed with a push through rate. HOW fast they can scan the items. They just go so fast to get a good statistical rate and maybe even a pay rise. Forget customer service and if your groceries end up on the floor.  Coles wins for the next few months!
